When the entire market is dominated by steel Dayton's, Royal Oaks, Nautilus and other NICE but way too expensive watches I do find pleasure in looking for and hunting after real rare watches.
And owning one from a guy that created the SIHH ( together with Vincent Calabrese), and is probably THE reference for word timers ( Patek should be very thankful ) is imo a grail watch.
Also knowing Svend Andersen made less than 650 in his entire life is nice to know.
