Oh! The places you'll go!
Le Brassus, for instance.

No. I've never been there.

And I've never owned an Audemar Piguet.
Until now.

The Edward Piguet Quantieme Perpetual.

The movement, 2806, is not elaborately finished, and is not a shaped movement...but it is keeping time impeccably. And note the beautiful etching surrounding the movement, including the name.

Gorgeous guilloche on the dial.

(Swedish and American stones, of course.)

Another view of the movement and case back-note the deployant!

With Gordon's-obligatory.

On a wood plank.

How cool is this?!

Original Blomman shot.

The curved lugs make for a very comfortable fit on the wrist.

Actually, a lot of original Blomman shots.

Gin.
I especially love how a silver dial works with white metal to show shades of white, silver and cream. Today was not the best day to try and give examples of this feature, but I was excited to post and so I will be forced (hah) to post again with some more photos to show off what I'm talking about. Of course, you all know this already. You're PuristS, for God's sake! But I will put some more pictures up when the weather allows.
I went looking for an Edward Piguet WG chronograph-I would have been completely satisfied with that complication. But this was available, and given the price and the complication it was a no-brainer. One of the nice things about a watch line/style that is apparently not popular is that wonderful examples of it can be found for wonderful prices. I've always thought that the E.P. models were some of the best watches A.P. made and I never understood why they weren't more popular. I'm not complaining.
