Omega "Experten" - call to action! . . .
. . . please review these pics of my recently acquired 30T2rg.
I dropped the watch off yesterday at my friend's jewelry store, and he remarked how tightly the case was sealed; also, that there were watchmaker's marks indicating service in 1951, 1974, and 2004.
The bad news so far is that the buckle isn't original, and not even gold, which is upsetting. mrsnak graciously offered a '63 plated Omega buckle, which will be put into use until an appropriate 14 kt version can be found. Are there any other issues that can be gleaned from these photos?
Thanks, Art
