Omega

OmegaMania NYC event photos ....

HI all

I just had a chance to upload all the photos I took from the Omegamania event ( NYC) . As I mentioned before if you can go to a viewing of this catalog, the only place to see more historic Omegas under one roof would be in Bienne.

Connie case...

Front and center is I think a plat. Grand lux Connie... The to the back left is an enamel Connie dial . But the sleeper in this case is the 18k white gold Electroquarts to the right, ( very sq case and non taper 18k white gold bracelet.).

Another pic of the “Connie “ display case.

The Geneve section of the display case from the 1970s ( Entry level product line, hi grade movements in simple shape and produced cases)

In the extreme lower right corner ( could not frame it in the above shot). This is a geneve from the First Generation, TOP of the Omega line. High level of dial work, the case is hand finished with triple beveled bezel and lugs.

Mega Quartz 2.4 mhz.... Calibers 1510 , 1511, 1515 and 1516 with the Marine Chronometer model and the non Marine Chronometer models for sale.

Classic Beta 21 in 18k Yellow gold and bracelet in the center...( gota get one of these !!) First generation swiss Quartz using a combo of a quartz stepping motor and a tuning fork controller.

In the lower left hand side of this case has the 50- 60s Connies...

Back left...

Some of the modern Omegas offered for sale.. Including a split second broadarrow.

This is a 1 of 1 Omega Marine museum collection. I think is a great idea but I think is just TOO big... 33 mm by 50 mm in size . Look at it compared to the sq co-ax to the left.

Another view, including other Museum collections pieces and the 1894 30 mm collection.

18k Flightmaster with cal 910

In this display they group the Rancheros ad some of the early digital Omegas and the Flightmaster..

Off to Speedmaster City....

White dial model of the Apollo 13

The Alaska Project.... I would guess that this watch came directly from Omega storage room...

Seamaster Case

Classic Seamaster 200m with Yellow dial and Red – black bezel... Uncommon in mint condition.. Funny thing I had one and sold it a few years ago.. Great watch.

600m and 1000m dive watch with a 1000m proto-type ( extreme right watch).

Due to the case and lighting my Point and shot was not up to the task... But here is a photo of lot 128, many military collectors raised questions on the RN300..

A pair of Seamaster Chronometres. My favorite is lot 118 the 18k white gold Day date 751 with the stretch oyster Omega bracelet!!

Seamaster Ultima Hooded lug bumper chronometre Model (looked to me to be a redial).

Back to my Favorite display case of the Early Chronometres from 1900 to about 1950. Lot 108 is one of my personal favorites cal 60.8 deck chronometre..

I somehow lost the photos of the Jump Seconds Omega manula wind chronometre with caliber 372. I also misplaced photos of the early chronograph display case !! If anyone has pics of lot 63 ( I think, please post it !).

Augh.. As I stated previously, due to the shape of the cases ( domed) and the overhead spot lights my point and shoot could not get a tight focus. I really just wanted to show that depth of the catalog and the way it was displayed it was like going back to the Omega museum in Bienne.

Good Hunting
