ORIS "COL MOSCHIN" Launch Event

15 September, 2010 - ORIS Singapore launched one of their latest 2010 model which was developed with the Italian Military's Elite 9th Parachute Assault Regiment 'Col Moschin'. The event was held at the rooftop of the Klapsons Boutique Hotel.

49mm diameter case is of titanium, coated with camouflaging gunmetal grey DLC coated titanium case with a hard tungsten bezel-top ring

The power reserve indicator is with three colours just like the Italy flag - green, white and red. Above green marker indicating at full power reserve.

The Rotation Safety System (RSS) developed and patented by Oris (an innovation first seen in 2009 on the Oris ProDiver Chronograph).
Screw down crown. Water resistant to 100 bar/1000m.

Screw down caseback is engraved with the serial number of the watch and the official logo of the Col Moschin regiment.
The Roman sword symbolises readiness, precision and focus on achieving the objective of a mission – whatever it takes.

Above the main event-hall, the 29th floor, another chill-out area for the guests too with wonderful view too ...

At about 18:30, some guests arrived. Registered and were served with drinks and canapes ..

19:45 , the emcee greeted all the guests ...

and later invited Irene Ang, General Manager of Swiss Prestige / ORIS Singapore to start the evening event ...

Models wearing the ORIS pieces paraded out with their "fire-arms" ...

Emcee informing the guests, two activities for the evening which would win them prices, including an ORIS Watch!

First game, is to beat the score of Irene's in a dart-game, and the second one, to pose for some "action-packed" pictures when the models
with the Polaroid cameras came by.

Gracing the dart-game, Irene set the reference score for the evening ...

Hmm.... many should win some prices for the evening

The COL MOSCHIN despite its size certainly doesnt wear as big as one would think and the titanium case helps make this an easy piece to put on the wrist. But its definitely a thick watch. I really like the micro-adjustments on the clasp which doubles for ...
