Panerai PAM00052 with and without a tachymeter
I have a Panerai PAM00052 without a tachymeter. The watch is 23 years old. I've seen the Panerai PAM00052 with and without a tachymeter (see photo). The Panerai website only shows the reference WITH the tachymeter, but I see the watch in several locations, without the tachymeter:

The last link above seems to indicate at the bottom of the auction listing that "the first 150 released (do) not have a tachometer on the bezel". I also saw a forum post from many years back that said Panerai mistakingly shipped some quantity without the tachymeter. The poster said Panerai offered to swap the bezel if he sent it in, but he declined.
So, my question is; do you have any information on the mystery of the two bezels? Thanks so much for any help!!!
