Part 2 : Follow up to yesterday's post 😉

So I assume all of you who saw the post from yesterday noticed that I was wearing an earlier DeBethune Perpetual.

Did anyone guess what else it could be as there is a little secret ? 😉

Well, this was one of the most complicated DB models at the time and still is. There was a PIECE UNIQUE owned by a friend which was a Perpetual Tourbillon Minute Repeater which was DB's most complicated piece, even today 😉

This one is a DB16 Perpetual Calendar Tourbillon with Deadbeat seconds. Basically, take a FP Journe CS Tourbillon Seconde Morte (Deadbeat seconds) AND add a Perpetual Calendar WITH a spherical moonphase and you essentially have this DB16 🤯

It truly is an HOROLOGICAL monster in every sense of the word and so unique in design and architecture. From research and discussions with DB (Pierre Jacques and Jorg) there were single digits of this particular reference made in WG when it was produced.

Enough descriptive talk, let's see the PARTY side of this bomb 💣
