I've just got my 5270G-019. Beautiful watch, I love it in every seconds, but when I adjust the leap year indicator by changing the months, it does not appear normal, as the year indicator does not jump after 1 cycle of 12 months....  

I remember that the booklet sold with the watch explains quite well how to set it but if it doesn't seem to behave as it is written it should, have you considered paying a visit to the AD/Salon you bought it to or give them a phone call? It could be quick... 

The booklet just said that press the month adjust continuosly until the right year appear. The full moon calendar and leap year calendar booklet is provided

be sure to set the watch to 12 noon before setting and go in the order directed for the settings. If the watch was near midnight the movement will be damaged, if set, as the gears are engaged and the settings cannot move properly. Assuming you did that ri... 

Yes i did, the booklet does say that not to set time between 5h30 pm to 2am, it suggest to turn to 6am for setting

After completing a 12 month cycle, as you have done, your leap year indicator should advance automatically. How long as it been since this watch has been serviced? Do the other functions work properly? Unrelated to you question, but while you're at the AD... 

I\'ve just bought the watch. As you can see this dial is the 3rd generation of 5270, which only come out this year. The first gen do not have tachymeter, the secong have the "chin". This one, the third, fixed all that. Btw, I do not know ehat you menat by...
