Problems with MIH
hi folks, i was just wondering if people had ever experienced a problem with the chrono on the MIH. mine was running perfectly until le Bim wore it and now it wont reset to 0. all my watch boxes are packed away so can anyone (mike=cazalea, you'll know) tell me how long the warranty is for it. i've had mine just over 1 year so i hope its 2 years so i can send it back. if not i'm hoping that as its a V7750 movement my watchmaker should be able to fix it easily enough.
pretty bloody annoying really as its performed faultlessly with none of the problems associated with the date lining up.
any help would be great. and Le Bim i know its not your fault

if it doesn't reset to zero no problem
that's a known condition with the pipe on the second hand, and can be easily and quickly repaired. It needs a new hand (on right) because the original hand pipe may be a bit short Mike This message has been edited by cazalea on 2009-12-13 15:59:55...

thanks Mike, as it turns out i've had a pm from Beat Weinmann asking me to send it back ASAP for fix due to its 2 year warranty so i can get it back this year.........this year is not a problem, but so far excellent customer service. cheers Graham

This problem just arose withmy MIH today
sometimes the chrono hand resets to 5, then 7,8, sometimes 52, 54, 57 and then 2 etc. Never ever had this issue and mine looks like it has the newer hand. Watch is slightly over 6 months old. I have now stopped the chrono at about 55 to reset it back to 1...
