hi folks, i was just wondering if people had ever experienced a problem with the chrono on the MIH. mine was running perfectly until le Bim wore it and now it wont reset to 0. all my watch boxes are packed away so can anyone (mike=cazalea, you'll know) te... 

that's a known condition with the pipe on the second hand, and can be easily and quickly repaired. It needs a new hand (on right) because the original hand pipe may be a bit short Mike This message has been edited by cazalea on 2009-12-13 15:59:55...  

thanks Mike, as it turns out i've had a pm from Beat Weinmann asking me to send it back ASAP for fix due to its 2 year warranty so i can get it back this year.........this year is not a problem, but so far excellent customer service. cheers Graham

Probably Bimbaeno had something to do with it!

sometimes the chrono hand resets to 5, then 7,8, sometimes 52, 54, 57 and then 2 etc. Never ever had this issue and mine looks like it has the newer hand. Watch is slightly over 6 months old. I have now stopped the chrono at about 55 to reset it back to 1... 

Beat explained the problem to me in detail so i didnt understand a word of it :) only the most recent are modified to cope with the length of the hand. contact Andrea at Embassy and they'll give you their Fedex a/c # to ship back for repair. mine would be... 

Beat must be following this thread and he PMed me on his own accord and gave me an explanation and since mine is under warranty, he has also sent me intructions on how to get it back to him quick for repair. I do expect mechanicals to have issues and beca... 

i agree, Beat is very efficient and mine would be there already if it wasnt for the innefficiency of our local Fedex employees. a better after sales service than most large brands can boast. best Graham
