Tonight we had a wonderful event at our friendly neighborhood Jaeger-LeCoultre Boutique Beverly Hills.  Upon our arrival, we spot the reason why many of us brave the crazy L.A. traffic on a weekday night.....to see the new pieces from the 2011 SIHH collection!  Last month, the boutique hosted a special dinner and brought in a prototype which put smiles on many of us there.  As it was just a proto, things can change when the actual production pieces are finalized.  Sometimes the pictures don't do the watch justice and they look much better in person.  Will the pieces meet and exceed our expectations?  Let's find out..........

Earlier, fellow PuristS RJW had the opportunity to view some of the watches: ( click here )  as did Kelvin Tan aka KT in Malaysia: ( click here ) , Stefan Ma: ( click here ) ,Goh (  click here ), mell0822 (  click here ), and BluNotte (  click here ) in Singapore.  Not letting everyone else have all the fun, with the hard work of Jim and Seth of the JLC BHB, now it was our turn here in the United States to get up close and personal with the new offerings!  Here's the sign proudly displaying the talked about watch, the JLC Tribute to 1931 Reverso.

It was good to see so many familiar PuristS and meet new ones.  You could tell that there was a lot of excitement inside.....

In the corner was a display case, what could be inside?

Our man Seth of the JLC BHB gives us a warm welcome and gives a tour to some of the new guests for the unveiling.  Hello ladies!

Of course there's a huge interest in the current collection as well as the incoming pieces.  Here's Seth happily explaining the unique features to the guests and answering all the technical questions.

Before I get to take a sneak peek inside the display case, let's take a glance at some of the wrists of tonight.  Here's a vintage piece worn that someone brought in.  You always get to see some cool pieces at the BH boutique!

This one is going into the spa shortly and will be as good as new.  JLC BHB's service is top notch and ready to take care of it's clientele.
