Dear guys,
I am thinking of buying the Saxonia Automatic (37mm)watch and add in my collection. I remember some years ago Walt Odets has commented that there is still room for improvement in terms of the finishing quality of the movement bottom plate and the keyless works. After these years, I wonder is there any review on the movement again (especially the automatic one) and does anyone know whether Lange has done some more work about it? Also I am curious why there are so few micro-rotor automatic movement made on the market today. Will it be due to the high development/production cost or design difficulties or simply there is little demand for such design approach? Would appreciate if you guys can share your views or refer me to other sources of references. After all, the Saxonia Automatic is one of the most (if not the most) expensive automatic watches with date function only offer currently on the market. I want to ensure the money spent is well justified, not just paid for the brand only. Many thanks.
