Question on day-date's DAY display
Dear Rolex Enthusiasts:
Is there any variation of the DAY window size of day-date watches ? I am referring to the classical 36 mm day-dates.
The reason for my question is that, for the same day, e.g. WEDNESDAY, I have seen some d-d's where the day letters appear bigger thus easier to read, and some that appear smaller. I recognize that part of this may be dial related illusion effects.
Of course there are lots of d-d dials being offered in the market with NO designation of window size. So one can assume that all day windows should be the same.
Any comments will be appreciated.
Thanks and cheers. Jim
