Ref. 5296 case...
I have a ref. 5296 in WG and love the watch. What I was wondering is how the case is crafted? Does Patek take a solid block of gold and mill the entire case (lugs and all) from it, or do they mill the case and attach the lugs afterwards? Is it possible to have a lug replaced if necessary without having to replace the entire case? What kind of procedures take place to make this possible?
