Report of the cocktail at the AP boutique in Paris

Yesterday, a cocktail was organized at the AP boutique of Paris to introduce to the french fans some of the 2010 novelties. I took the opportunity of this event to shoot the Offshore Diver and the 37mm chronograph I missed during the SIHH. I alo took more pics of the Tour de France LE.

Good news: a watchmaker from the Manufacture was present to show us some calibers.

Let's start with them.

The watchmaker came with 4 calibers.

An old pocket watch caliber, the 2120, the 2125 and the 2003.

You will notice on the pocket watch caliber the 2 openings for the keys: one to wind the watch, one to set the time.









The thinness of the 2120 is especially due to the hanging barrel which allows to reduce the caliber height.









The 2125 doesn't have the same barrel system:

Let's see now the 3 novelties.

One of my fav novelties is the Offshore Diver. The watch is water resistant to 300m and the crown at 10 allows to rotate the inner bezel. I love its black dial, the second hand. I find it nicer than some Scuba I saw before.


































The Tour de France is a LE of 60 watches. I like the way the bezel is designed and the colors used.


































The 37mm chronograph. A smaller version of the chronograph powered by the Piguet 1185. The black dial is again my fav version. I don't know why but I always prefer the RO or ROO with black or dark dial !
