Reverso TT1931 US lands...

I figured better late than never!

When this piece was released earlier this year, wife and I attended a small release party held by Seth at the JLC BHB...It was a small intimate affair with fellow Purists and great JLC pieces on hand.

The highlight of the evening was the release of the Tribute to Reverso 1931

My wife was immediately smitten and since we were expecting our 2nd Daughter in August, I decided to reserve this piece for the wife and to mark the birth of our daughter.  A couple of months in, the US Edition was released my wife actually preferred this version due to the baton hands and the faux patina.  Another call was made into Seth at the BHB and (like the baby), all that remains is the waiting…

Well, 7 months later, our 2nd daughter arrived on July 26 and is keeping us up like all good newborns.

Last Thursday (25Aug11), Seth called with the arrival of our the Reverso US Edition and yesterday it arrived (sorry for the poor iPhone photos).  Seth apologized for not including the presentation box as he wanted to get the watch out to us.  Thank you!

Love this imprint on the strap.

The cordovan strap just oozes quality and the leather smell is intoxicating.  The baton hands and the retro font just add to the allure of this piece.

I have got a call into Seth for a shorter strap for the wife and we are awaiting its arrival for the formal wrist shot.

Needless to say, this piece will be a keeper in our family (the birth of our 1st daughter was marked with the Patek Twenty4).

In the coming months, we will be working with Seth to get the back engraved by JLC to make it even more special.

Thanks again for Seth for your hospitality and service!

Thanks for reading.
