Rolex, Steel, Black Dial--Which One and Why?

I apologize for asking a this-or-that question, but I sincerely would be interested in which of the following watches Rolex connoisseurs would advise for a first, and perhaps only, Rolex.  Most importantly, I would be interested in why...

Some of my considerations, though none of them are very strong:

1. All of these are between 39mm and 41mm, and I feel that is the right size for a bracelet watch for me.

2. I like dates on watches, but don't find them anywhere near essential and find they sometimes detract from a dial, though not always.  Also, I get annoyed when dates aren't perfectly centered in their date windows, but that's another story.

3. Arabic hour markers are better than Romans, but they often seem a bit superfluous.

4. I appreciate value relative to initial purchase price and how well watches hold that value.

5. I like watches with good crisp edges.

6. I like watches that are timeless.

7. I won't go diving with the watch and don't travel frequently.

8. Although I do own "dress" watches, I wear suits frequently and would like the watch to look "appropriate" with that attire.

9. I understand that none of these watches are "rare," but, that being said, a little less common, rather than a little more common, appeals to me.

10. Relatively speaking, among these watches, I don't need the watch to scream "Rolex" to laypeople taking only a quick glance.

11. Surfaces that show little scratches from normal wear are less preferable to ones that show fewer of these little scratches.

Thank you so much!
