I have owned many GS but this is by far my favourite.
I have also owned the SBGW253 in the past which is 38mm but I prefer the 36mm. Have you tried the SBGW253?
No I did not. Maybe I should and maybe will find the size to be ok. I had dismissed it being smaller then 40mm but good idea to try one.

Top class. The 36mm is a very fine size for this anniversary piece.
I never thought of a red strap here. Kudos on the colour combination. It stands out against the off white dial.
I have many different coloured straps for this watch.
