I sincerely appreciate and respect the passionate vintage Rolex collectors who have issue with this watch... the size, the cyclops, the blasphemy. On the positive is the dial, bracelet, new caliber and improved autonomy, which are undeniably impressive and robust. Swimming, kayaking, barbecuing - this is the perfect leisure tool watch for me and a keeper. I also find the diameter/thickness quite reasonable and highly wearable for leisure not work.

I don't quite follow some of the vintage community bemoaning of this modern iteration of the red sea dweller............its akin to comparing a 60's Ferrari with today's models. They may share the same heritage and blood line even come in the same colour ...
