Mixed feelings indeed. I’ve entertained those thoughts as well with a recent drop in weight..

But I still like wearing it. It’s also still comfortable to wear even if I’m on the last hole of the strap. If you can wear long sleeve type polo shirts, i don’t think it’s going to be an issue. With short sleeves it might be trickier. Interestingly enoug

I get you with the “idea of the sub” statement..

That idea has sort of faded for me over the past year. I even had my sd43 on a possible trade with a 14060 + cash. I eventually backed out of it because i already had a 14060 before and didn’t really gel with it because it wore small on my slightly under

The sd43 is a beast

Albeit a mostly wearable one, especially compared to the DeepSea. I remember trying all three including the base sub and the SD felt just right. I have a boxy wrist shape and protruding casebacks generally sink in my wrist avoiding the gap often seen with

I think it’s more comfortable than my explorer..

I’ve had my exp39 and sd43 for at least 5 years so I’ve worn them long enough to have a bit of insight as to wearability. I’ve done all day photography with my sd43 although i have yet to wear the exp39 under such circumstances. But i have worn it all day

Dropped by the Rolex AD..

I haven’t been to one in a year. I didn’t realize that this particular AD was not selling to walk-in clients anymore. There were no display cases for readily available items. Everything was just for exhibition. I guess it has turned into a place where you

Spending weekend with SD43 single red

Haven’t put this new single red on wrist for sometime. Hope it doesn’t look too massive on my 7 inch wrist. Have a great weekend, everyone!

A few more of the sd43

For appreciation purposes of how it wears in various angles and lighting.. Our home base for the trip, preparing to scout a couple of locations. I like how the sd pops here. A 630 am pic checking out a small inlet community. On the other side of that inle

Not every day one gets a reverse wrist shot view of one’s watch

Wish the pic were higher res but good enough to give you an idea of how the SD43 wears on a 7 inch wrist, give or take.

Enjoying the SD43

I thought of just bringing a Seiko for this trip to avoid any sort of stress altogether. Well, I did bring a Seiko but it never left the bag! I was surprised at how I forget that I have this thing on my wrist. Sure I was mindful but not any more so when I

Thks Abel!

These are tuff watches for sure, any one of them. The JC DSSD is on my list, I hope one day when I walk into a shop, the watch just happens to be there with some luck. Exactly how I got my DSSD in Swiss, the sub in HK and the SD43 in Singapore, all unplan
