Horological Meandering

search for a chrono capability set - laptiming

Hello.

I've been meandering this long saturday in Frankfurt's watch shops seeking for a real mechanical racetimer chronograph wristwatch.

I'd like to:
- capture laptimes of multiple seconds up to a few minutes, (all) pressing one single button ("laptime") without stopping the time. Capture the next laptime, by pressing the same button again.
- measure total time of race <1h
- allow counting laps with a indexed lunette 0-60
- safe in all weather, typical pressures and shallow water dives, (i.e. > 10atm)
- complication to work reliably, really. Rough terrain and many many many laps put a lot of pressure on the complications.

I saw a lot of strange faces, desperate blurbs of words like, split-second, flyback, double-chrono, ...
No one could present a solution, but all were able to show just another Race-Watch that can do all, but not allow for real Race-Timing, they way a racer really needs.

Sure there are a lot of digital solutions around, bäh!

Meca-please.

Hope there's something somewhere.

Thank you for any idea,
best regards,
Carlos.
