So I passed by my AD today to “check in”…
And to my surprise, he pulled out the new Tudor FXD Navy Seals.
My impression is that is more toned down then the Marine National(to me a plus), extremely light and comfortable to wear.
I personally think that the black dial make it more “tool” watch and also more versatile for everyday use.
The size and height is perfect for my taste, as you can see it fits like a glove!
I was offered both, but at the moment I’m waiting for something from Rolex, therefore I had to be disciplined, which wasn’t easy I must admit
Believe me, I almost took home both, since for a while I’m toying with the idea of starting a Tudor collection….

Somehow I was never a fan of this “special” collaborations. Except if I would be part of them

If you mean carbon/ceramic then yes, but purely carbon would be to soft, remember the AP offshores bezels that were made of carbon? All needed to be replaced due to tearing and decomposing…
Is there any Navy Seals designation, perhaps on the back?

I think it is just plain M.N. caseback marking
but I haven't seen any caseback picture online!
No, I haven’t seen any NS designation on the caseback.
It’s an attractive offering, personally I much prefer it to the MN, but it’s a mater of taste.
