I know it's insane but I think I want one of these cars ...

Switching gears, we found a couple vehicles on either side of the street - this nice Chevy pickup (not a single straight panel, though)

And straight across, I was thrilled to see a Lincoln Town Car Congressional Town Sedan.

Finally, ending our run of Mopars with an ever-so-rare Dodge Dart Wagon. Of about 600,000 1963-66 Darts, less than 48,000 were wagons. And surprisingly, when I looked this stuff up, I learned that Darts, as the "Senior" Mopar compact vehicle, were built on a 5 inch longer wheelbase than Valiants were, to give the Dart a greater back seat legroom. HOWEVER, Dart Wagons were all built on the shorter Valiant platform. Does that make any sense? Not to me either.

Look how short the rear door is ...

A Pontiac Trans Am

Early Ford Bronco composed of lotsa bitsa; around 1970

And the sweetest Ford Ranchero I have seen in all our spotting trips.

Tastefully pinstriped, too.

To complete the day, my wife found another sidewalk library and had a quick shop...
