Have a look at our 5 remaining warriors. How should we describe them? Cream of the crop? Men of steel? Men with true self control and willpower? Fact is they have lasted for almost 2 months with one watch now. Though Baselworld even!
I have never thought this Contest would last longer than let's say a month. Saturday it is April 1th. Some claim it to be Fool's Day, but let's just wait and see if all 5 will still be in by Saturday. Surely things are getting rough. Especially with the Zenith P15 being shipped out to some of the 5...

that once placing a watch at Basel World that it takes quite a long time before one takes delivery of a watch. I hope that by the end of the year I will be wearing a Patek 5170P but until then sorry gentlemen, it will be the 7200R for sure ...

you know....
....we all naturally differ in what rings our specific gongs. However, the one thing we all share is "that" feeling when a gong is rung. I may not hear it for someone else's watch. But I understand what it must feel like to be them hearing it!

A used Aston can barely cover the price of a 5170P!!! Sounds an illogical swap but it is a simple case of which of the two will give me the most joy and is most portable to carry around with minimal maintenance! Yes, even I can be practical at times

With a collection like yours.... but, in all fairness, that Montblanc really is a huge seductive piece. Much stronger than I initially thought.

... though I guess these gentlemen have the spirit of a Tibetan Monk to resist the temptations to wear a different watch! I also feel it has required an extra effort to those assisting to Basel! My admiration to them and looking forward to know the winner...
