that once placing a watch at Basel World that it takes quite a long time before one takes delivery of a watch. I hope that by the end of the year I will be wearing a Patek 5170P but until then sorry gentlemen, it will be the 7200R for sure ...  

I'm not a diamond man at all, and most of the time I would frown upon diamonds on a watch (for men), but in this case...I saw it live and it looks stunning. Congratulations!!

I am not a diamond man either but the dial was mesmerising to the extent that the diamond markers were not evident. Very discreet and they actually suit the watch although I would have been happier to have paid a lower price and forego the diamonds. The t...

....we all naturally differ in what rings our specific gongs. However, the one thing we all share is "that" feeling when a gong is rung. I may not hear it for someone else's watch. But I understand what it must feel like to be them hearing it!

A used Aston can barely cover the price of a 5170P!!! Sounds an illogical swap but it is a simple case of which of the two will give me the most joy and is most portable to carry around with minimal maintenance! Yes, even I can be practical at times

With a collection like yours.... but, in all fairness, that Montblanc really is a huge seductive piece. Much stronger than I initially thought.
