The Grand Seiko 44GS
These days I have been more cautious about my acquisitions....I made a solemn resolution not to make any impulsive purchases, and will only buy a watch if I cannot lose it in my mind a week after handling it in my hand, in order to avoid subsequent regrets....
The Grand Seiko 44GS in white gold commemorating its 100th anniversary (LE=70) is such a piece. Xavier has done an excellent write-up when he reported on the 2013 collection so I won't repeat the specifications here. Let the pictures speak:
The watch has superb finishing and feels perfect on the wrist. I especially like the blue seconds hand and logo.

.. surely it is the rarest of the re-issued 44GS series. How is the weight? Comfortable? As for me, I would like the original SS version but that's me. Congrats! I agree that the blue hand is very special. Ken

Would prefer it to be slightly heavier but probably because of the metal and diameter...overall, the watch is very comfortable on the wrist.
Yes! Good decision - a very few gold GS in captivity ...
I've only ever seen this one and I (with some encouraging from my wife) foolishly let it go to another Seiko fan. Regretted it ever since too. Cazalea ...
