The hunt is over
Hello all
I almost bought a Lange 1 in New York in October 2003. I say almost as I was holding it, liking it, and even had the option to have it shipped to our next hotel in Chicago and avoid the tax.
Guess what. I didn't buy it.
And guess what. I have regretted that decision ever since.
The model was the Lange 1 ref 101.027x.. White gold, blue hands.
Well, almost 9 years to the day later, I was guided by a fellow Purist and pounced... The time it was mine!
I cannot post the obligatory photos right now since I only have a working iPad... The laptop has died a tragic and acute death. Have no fear as I will post some up somehow....
I couldn't be happier. It is not such a common model, as I have found! And maybe I just wasn't searching hard enough....but now it is on the wrist and looking great!
I do have one question for you though.
The International Guarantee card shows the model as 101.027F.
Why then isn't known, and sold, as 101.027X?

That is one of the most beautiful Lange 1 combinations out there. I used to own one some time ago, but traded upwards for another Lange. I do still love the combination, and hopefully will own it again one day. Cheers, - SJX

Honestly, don't know 101.027F
I know the 101.027: WG and blue dial and the 101.027X. X means that dial and hands were changed. WG case remains the same. Well, you don't have to worry. Enjoy your beauty! Fx

This Lange 1 is so beautiful, I love the blue hands. Wear it in good health. The "F" means that it was original fitted with a F o lding Clasp (German: "Faltschließe"), doesn´t it? If I remember correctly, Your Lange 1 has this folding clasp, right?
