Purists,
After a very nice weekend, here are the winners:
Wrist shots - Judge Speedie74:Quote
So, Nilo, here are my votes:
Third
place goes to Alex's F. P. Journe: the blue dial of the watch matches
very well to Alex's sweater. The watch looks like a Cobra snake
searching for her victim.
On the second place is Henrik's (shortys home) beautiful picture from the Firenze Pam. Clear, clean and ice cold, like a blue curacao!
The
winner is Joe's (4Js) Jaeger: what a watch, what a photo, what colors!
The
photo has a great mood: it is always good to sit down a bit during the
hard work, especially when such a watch sits on your wrist!
Yours,
Adam

Static Shots - Judge Raymond_SQuote
Hi Nilo,
Here's my verdict:
When Nilo asked me to be the judge for Static Shot on
Thur, I browse through and thought...easy job. 2 days later,
man....tons of awesome shots came and now I'm screwed.
I spent numerous hours looking back and forth, scrolling up and down and
finally come to this conclusion, all winners, don't get me wrong.
Here's a tie for 3rd:
Nilo's JLC with all the tiny gears, so cool.

Nico's E 2643 Shark with the rope, and the fiber-like strap looks harmonious.

2nd place (tie):
Shorty's Home's 4th picture of the brown Panerai Firenze on the wooden
table.
The color is so soothing and striking, makes me want a Panerai.

Blomman's 2nd Smurf shot, with the Smurf lying so comfortably and
compliments so well with the GP, made the Deep Diver stood out.

First place:
Very tough....had to choose between Marcus Hanke's daring
Breitling on the grill, Gary G's Philippe Dufour Simplicity, NT931's
5-some white dial awesome shot....but the one that strikes me the most
and the winner is Andrewluff's first shot, the Voutilainen on his orange
shoes.
The blue strap, blue dial, orange background is just
perfect...what a radiant timepiece.

Watch of the Week: Judge JToddH
Quote
Since
rdenny pos
ted his Heuer '64 Carrera Re-edition several days ago, I have
been feeling a bit nostalgic.
As such, I had to go vintage for my watch
of the week.
My choice is Cazalea's Grand Seiko Hi-Beat. 45 years
old... Respect!
I have to thank Jeviar Dfirst for
his Proprof and Schumacher entries and SF, simply because I have a sweet
spot for the vintage 16710s.
Some nice JLCs and GPs in the running too!
Good job! Not a single loser in this week's running!

I want to say a very warm thanks to all participants that made this weekend wristscan a very nice Purists place to be.
Meanwhile, allow me to go back to my extended Carnaval holiday.
A wonderful week to all,
Nilo
