Your Recommendation on a 40,000 Watch
I would like to pull the trigger on a new watch and my budget is approximately 30- $40,000 US.
My current collection includes a Stainless Steel Blue Dial Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore, a Rolex Yachtmaster Full Gold White Dial, A Zenith Big Pilot Limited Edition, a Hublot Big Bang Carbon Ceramic bracelet Black Dial, a Panerai Luminor 321 and a Tag Heuer Carrera.
For this next one, I really would like to select a watch from manufacturer with a long and respected history (Patek, Lange, Vacheron Constantin, Breguet, etc...). A watch that will stand the test of time.
Because I am tall and my son who also wears my watches is basically a giant at 6'10", I am trying to restrict my next purchase to relatively larger watches (at least 43mm plus), otherwise, the watches look too small on our wrists.
The watches that currently pick my interest are:
-Patek Philippe Nautilus (gold on Leather bracelet).
-Lange and Sohne Time Zone
-IWC Portuguese Perpetual Calendar.

I really like all 3 watches and although I realize the IWC may have less prestige than the other 2, I really like it.
I wanted to hear your opinion on those 3 choices and also if you have other recommendations that I should really consider given the information I have mentioned above.

IWC Perpetual is a gud value proposition and fits your 6'10" wrists...

UTT Quantieme Lunaire or Chronograhe,
they are all interesting and a bargain for what they are.
My favourite is the Duometre chrono, with their dual time a close second...
The moonphase you have pictured is very unusual in that it has a constant foudroyante rocketing around the subdial. It's an interesting juxtaposition against the sedentary moon phase...
I would choose Patek

Patek by only a small margin

out of this three the Lange
it has more technical aspects than the Patek. The IWC, although I liked it once, is too big to my taste. All three are very nice pieces of watch making and jewellery. Best Moritz

The IWC is chunky were as the Patek is somewhat thin and the Lange is somewhere in the middle. I tend to wear my thicker watches mostly on the weekends and most times prefer a thinner watch. (I have to wear a suit everyday) To me I would go with the Patek...
Any Lange will do!
But if you want a bit more sporty; go for the Nautilus. Personally I\'d pick a steel one.
