The (slow) Hunt: Time-only automatic dress watch in WG
One thing I appreciate about PuristSPro is how it has allowed me to interact with so many watch lovers (and their awesome collections), and how this in turn has refined my personal tastes and preferences in timepieces.
I've been looking for a time-only (with seconds) automatic dress watch in WG, preferably with above average finishing on the movement.
There are not many candidates that match these criteria, not least because most decent dress watches are manually wound! A couple of autos that come to mind are Lange's Saxonia Automatic and Chopard's LUC XPS. I really wish Vacheron had not discontinued the 86180...
Does anyone have other suggestions?

A truly lovely watch, with excellent finishing and a fairly good value, too.
+2 for the LUC XPS. Incredible watch
The black dial and WG combo is especially fetching.
Plus you get the 65 hour power reserve in the LUC
Take it off on Friday and it\'s still going strong on Monday morning
JLC Master Ultra Thin Small Second?
Here is the watch on JLC's website: 1278420 38.5mm is a nice dress watch size. And it's an automatic. But..., it's in SS. Ah, sorry. I got it wrong.

It is indeed wonderful!
Unfortunately, my tiny wrist cannot handle its dimensions (46.8mm x 27.4mm) and it would be nice to be able to see the movement. I can appreciate though, how others might prefer an engraving on the verso side=)

I would very much like to admire the movement though. From what I can recall, I think this has a solid caseback=)
