Took the VC plunge
Well, I attended the VC exhibition this past weekend at my local watch emporium, got to meet the Pres. of VC USA, Scott Rosen (very nice guy and fellow New Yorker), and left with a white gold Malte Dual Time Regulateur. I had fallen in love with this piece since I first laid eyes on it in the VC catalogue. I don't seem to be having any trouble adjusting to the regulator dial and the dual time function will be quite useful on my many business travels.
I also got to see a very lovely enameled VC pocket watch and a very lovely skeleton piece (except for the diamond bezel, yuck...). I am also particularly attracted to the Grande Classique in white gold and the 31-day retrograde calendar in rose gold, but these will have to wait until the "piggybank" is recharged.
