Trying to resuscitate an vintage Quartz

Hi,

I've been lurking for a while and breathing in all the love for watches and expertise you all show...

I'm really hoping someone can help me bring a vintage Seamaster quartz back to life - I know it has a defective coil and although I'm aware I can attempt to fix the break with a soldering iron, I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere where I could get a replacement coil? I've checked the otto frei site, and it's confusing enough that I only think they don't have any parts left - does anyone have any suggestions? Its a lovely watch in absolutley recoverable condition and I hate the idea of it being useless moving forward...

Thanks in advance,

Stu

*and I apologise - I think I've posted this in the wrong forum, but can't work out how to move it... :-( not a good start.
