Turtle versus Werewolf
Last Monday the moon has been about as close as it got to Earth in the last 70 years. Somewhat unusually for me, I was in a forrest at night to observe it.
And while an iPhone is unlikely to capture the full magnificence of the moment adequately, I can only say it has been wonderful. Now as one never knows for sure what will happen on a full moon night in the forrest in winter, I took a hardy companion with me, my Prospex SPRA21K1 Turtle (sadly no Green Lanterns in my portfolio
).
Now there was no diving involved (luckily, as the water temperature was freezing - literally) but the watch handily competed with the bright moon, when it came to luminescence. Take a look - starting with the moon...

To the Turtle...

To the moon again...

And enough for the night. Some local beer as a nightcap - the Turtle's WR being advantageous if shaky hands were to result in a spill - and the Turtle beat the Werewolf hands down

Some days later prior to departing; all I can say is that the Turtle makes for an excellent beater / tool watch, as it is rugged, has excellent lume, a decent WR and as you will not cringe every time you have it on in less than 'fine' environments - even were it get the odd scratch, it will neither break the bank nor look out of character. And it manages to hide its 45mm very, very well. The only aspect, where it could do with an improvement is accuracy - at around 10s a day fast it is not quite up to COSC standards but then again at the price level asked for, one cannot expect everything.
