VC Overseas Chronograph vs AP Royal Oak Chronograph
VC and AP both make incredibly nice watches. But if you were going to chose between the two models above, which one would you buy? If my understanding is correct, these two watches share the same movement. Is there any reason to think that one is "better" than the other?
Personally, I like the styling of the new VC Overseas quite a bit, and I like the big date and the 150m water resistance. Plus, I think they did a great job designing the new bracelet.
On the other hand, the AP Royal Oak is a pretty "hot" watch right now and seems to be attracting more attention, perhaps more celebrity wearers as well (which actually doesn't matter to me).
Are both watches going to be equally robust over the long term? Equally reliable?
