Vienna - Istanbul - Tokyo; or an attempt to make Raymond hungry 😋

 

As Raymond has been spoiling us with food pictures lately, I wanted to return the favour. The restaurant is, well hard to say. It has a Turkish owner, a very Austrian view out of the windows and a fusion cuisine spanning everything from traditional Viennese, over Turkish all the way to Japanese. With a couple of other things thrown in. One could say you come for the view and stay for the food smile


So here goes a sample:

Given that it’s me doing the posting, a tartare is almost obligatory wink Here a combination of tuna on the one hand and beef on the other...




Then a Viennese deep fried egg with spinach, potatoes and truffles...




Some tuna tataki next. They have an own sushi chef but that was another meal at the restaurant smile




While the carnivore crown is firmly Raymond’s, a bit of meat from my side, too - with some pork fillet. Definitely like that a lot smile




And a delectable combination of veal cheeks with goose liver on celery purée with carrots for my wife. Yummy 😋 




As the traditional dessert may be considered too non PC for nowadays, a chocolate suffle had to do the trick...




Together with a selection of sorbets...




And to do the Turkish element justice, a Turkish coffee in the end. They even offer a kebab - which is very refined - but we were too full to even share a third main smile
