Vinatge Patek 3445 winding crown help

I have notices that the winding crown on the Patek 3445 seems very stiff when you try winding the watch from an unwound state. I am considering the purchase of this classic watch, but am concerned that this is normal. The watch as been recently servcie by Patek Philippe. I expect the 27-460M caliber to move silky smooth. Can anybody shed some light on this issue?
