Weekend Heuer. Part 5/? - A little more modern
Let's skip (I will return to that) the old chronographs and jump to more modern ones:
Autavia 2446C GMT "First Execution", I believe. Manual wind, of course.
I need to check but, according to OnTheDash, this case is "a compressor case" and the watch is from 1969.
The Autavia, from AUTo and AVIAtion, line started in 1933 (dashboard timers) and ended in 1986. Later Tag Heuer issued an re-edition in 2003.
From 1962 to 1986 Heuer issued many Autavia variations. On the following weeks we should see some.
