What are people’s thoughts about Breitling?
I used to own the chronomat flyingfish back when it came it. It was my first luxury watch purchase and I really did not know much about movements and brands back then! It was also around the time the B01 was introduced and it had a lot of problems. My watch broke a few times and after the second trip I sold it and really began my collecting journey from there. Now years later I took a look at their site post sale! I really really like some of their pieces and price points. What are your thoughts? Experiences with Breitling since they sold?

A simple Colt Auto was my first 'high-end' watch in the 90s
I had a few in between but did not stay with the brand. Too much fashion content for me, and the Navitimer are too large Nice history though

Unfortunately they recently stopped making the chronograph version but they are out there in the pre-owned arena. 42mm. Valjoux 7750 powered, rubber bezel insert. Crown
and Caliber or Tourneau might be a good place to look. I also like that it has a version of Brietling's signature slant link bracelet.
I believe that Breitling is back on track.
The leadership under Georges Kern is moving the brand away from the previous oversized bling watches towards more reasonably sized and conceived pieces. They have quite a few very nice models currently in their collection.
