Horological Meandering:
Fantastic post! Love that Mirco (a brand I've never heard of). I would buy that in an instant! So many cool watches here. Thanks for this superb post! :-)

TAG Heuer:
Sweet! So Nico, how do you feel about the date on this one? At least the dial looks balanced. No loss of symmetry. Looks pretty easy to read with old eyes too.

Zenith:
Sure if it reduces how a date display interrupts the aesthetics of the dial. I get it with preferring no date but to me that would be the next best solution.

Due to his formal attire our cat Moochie finds the more popular APs to be too sporty.

Or at least an orange disc with black or white numbers?

Great stuff! When I bought my first new car in '72 (TE-27 Corolla coupe) those Crowns were in the showroom. I thought they were really special and still do. I still want one but with a
2JZ-GTE under the hood! Thanks for posting these great images!

Agreed! Next best would probably be the non hybrid V-10 F1 engines

Not sure an FD would be that unsafe. Earlier RX-7s (especially gen 1) would be less safe... but people still drive old VW buses! And Beetles! Or original Fiat 500s and
Multiplas! Frankly I don't feel very safe in my friends 67 911 or his 914!

Well, here's another Nico discovery I've somehow missed! Looks awkward yet interesting. Is that a downforce wing IN the grill? Never seen THAT before! :-)

The story of the Mazda rotary at Le Mans is like the STP Turbine car at the Indianapolis 500 or Seiko in the Swiss chronometry contests. So dominant they had to
ban them from the competition!
