Why no love for the 1815 Up&Down ?
I ask this for my own indulgence. It is not a matter of whether or not to buy, as check is clearing.
Being somewhat new (3 years) to Lange, it is easy to understand the popularity of the 1815 manual.
Mine was of the highest quality at the lowest price point of any of the "Big 3" I had owned for decades.
The way it wound, the exhibition case and beautiful movement, the silver face and simple dial-terrific!
Is it a matter that the Ab/Auf is 50% more expensive, even though the power reserve is a seperate movement
at added expense? Or is it simply a matter of the additional dial on the original uncluttered face?

i love the Up and down in PT the most. i am attracted by its off centre subdials at 8 o clock and 4 o clock. MC
