I’ve heard rumors that omega will discontinue the current hesalite speedmaster professional, and put the 3861 movement in to-be-offered sapphire sandwich model, albeit at a higher price point.
Anybody else hear such rumblings?
And another minor question: is this hesalite model the only one that NASA flight qualified?

Who knows. If they do that, what a shame. I have always described the moonwatch as the most affordable luxury sports watch one can buy from a store. That’s how i got mine.
