Great question - He was wearing the Tourbillon Vertical on a calf strap. I should have asked to take a picture of his wrist but I must admit I was a bit star struck. .

In Basel I was about to buy the book on Journe, then I left it with a thought - one day I’ll take a sign from him on it ! One never know what life has in store 😊

Is going to take over as the super complicated watch after the Grand Sonnerie. I heard something like more that a thousand parts. I guess the name hints what the complications will be about. Be prepared to be PM-ed

Some very interesting information here on several different product lines. BTW, am I the only one to be curious about a quartz complicated watch by FPJ?

I was told more detailed what it was about but asked not to write about it specifically. My guess is that he wants to be more certain he can solve the issues he mentioned before disclosing more. It was super interesting and If it works out I want one, for...

Thank you for your nice post. I have to agree on the 38. However I am firm in my belief that the pendulum will swing back one day. I am wearing my CB today. I’ve thought several times today, that it is so balanced and well proportioned with the 39 mm case...

The 38mm issue I've asked him about before and the answer was the same, they just didn't sell. One cannot deny that being the case as for the watch buying public as a whole we know the majority seem to be on the larger side, 40mm and up. I'm very curious ... 

I’m really thinking a lot about the new resonance as well. I didn’t hear about the brass being better before. Very interesting detail you mention. I did try to ask more about it but I feel he wanted to keep the details for SIHH, which is perfectly underst...

What a good job to get seemingly candid answers from the man himself. To have solutions chosen explained helps me always to better understand the watches. This creates interest, "objects" becoming results of the conviction and taste of a master. Björn

the cease of aluminium cases is due to their fragility or other issues ?

Hey George, my friend. Thank you Im guessing - a kind of corrosion? The moveneNts of the Line Sport are still made in Aluminium. But they had to replace aluminium with titanium for the caseS and bracelets.

and the balck ones corrodes too , sorry for 2many Qs

but I have no idea if they replace them. Never heard about anything with the black ones. Perhaps someone else will chime in. Personally, Im thinking about picking up an Au despite the issues - I think they are super cool.

Do we have any more information on which watches were discontinued? I've heard some rumours that the CB is one - seems unlikely to me, but possible?
