Ref 9091 & Ref 9490 Both alarm watches both GP both AS base movement and that's where similarity ends.... Different size...different case shape....different alarm indicators.... different dial colors and very different pitch and loudness of alarm... o...  

Playing cushion to my little one it's a static moment right now but he allows me to inform myself on his future watches, so all good Lovely pair of GP alarms, btw. 👍🏻

I think I'm slowly getting convinced by 70's watch design. More an more by pieces like the white dial alarm. Edit: wait that's actually a 60's model, no? In that case it would be 'leading up to the 70's design language'.

Correctly Ref 9190 was made from 1969 till 1976 in total of cca 3000 pieces and Ref 9490 from 1972 till again 1976 in only 350 pieces...yes the funky 70ies D
