AUTOMATIC WINDING PROBLEM? - HELP PLEASE
Hello all
I have recently obtained a GP Chrono Ref 4956 serial available if required
Normally i wear it and it runs fine. When not in use it sits in a winder
The 'problem' is this - i unplugged winder and the watch has now been fully wound down (i assume) as it hasnt been used or wound for 3 - 4 days perhaps.
When i screw out the crown to wind it makes a horrible 'grinding' feeling through the winder and i can 'feel' the whole mechanism whirring inside (i hope the descriptions make sense)
I wondered if i need to put it into winder for a day or two or does it sound more serious?
Answers on a postcard or a Forum please to .............................
Thanks in advance of any assistance
Mark
