sometimes, you go through phases when you seem to break habits and loose interest in your passion.
i know friends who had been wearing one watch for weeks and weeks this summer...
For me, the hot weeks have resulted in neglecting wearing vintage watches, while I still kept regularly changing, I ended up somehow always with a modern watch. 
So now it is time to break through that summer blues and take out some vintage gems. Starting with the Girard-Perregaux Alarm 7742.
I think that's a good start, so let's see what will be next.
Anything like that you have experienced and can share. How do you try to break through that?

I also know a few who go through such spells. I was partly in one, but only because it was a lucky watch for Croatia's WC run. I broke the spell simply: I put that one away and started playing with 'neglected' pieces. It didn't take log to start rotating ...

yes, the hot summer seems to have directed me to modern / bracelet watches as well and then I also had the Laureato Evo3 as a new addition. But now, it is time to rediscover the other (vintage) watches. Best, CC

Hej CC !.. Good points you made about this summer's heat.. & less Vintage wear.. Yes- conversly, I have pretty much wearing only one or two pieces, mostly moderns..
.. mostly with bracelet or rubber. Few changes were related to theatre visits. I like your choice with that lovely GP 9091 Alarm, which in fact we share as „brothers-in-arms“ ! Guess, now as it gets a bit cooler, I‘ll have to think more to n my Vintages, ...

this one is the 7742 while the 9091 has a C-Shape case. And as far as Blomman is concerned, is there an Alarm watch he doesn't have?
