The steel/leather and RG/leather on the pictures are particularly good looking watches: noble, cool ans not the slightest dated looking. And choices of sizes, too. Well done GP!

there are always some common design elements between sports bracelet chronographs. I do think however, that the new Laureato Chronograph really follows the heritage of the 1996 Laureato Olimpico. The bezel design, the dial and the crown guards and pushers...

Great first thread to kick things off too! Lovely new Laureato designs - disappointed that the long standing movement with a chrono module is still being used. A new integrated in house chrono movement would make these darn near perfect.

yes, the have done a great job with the Chronograph in the Laureato. As for the integrated inhouse Chronograph movement: let's say: first things first, GP still needs to put a lot of focus on reviving the collection and last two years clearly has the focu... 

Of course GP needs to chart the course that best series their goals and priorities. My quiet worry (and probably a pause in acquiring) is the many "friendly competitor" chronographs in the price point that offer modern, purpose built chronograph movements...
