Never knew of it. The simplicity on the rear works so well. Maybe a small design issue, I don't like the crowns at 3 and 9 across from each other. Lovely ref

Great watch.. Unfortunately the last generation GP worldtimer 1966 quietly left the catalogue last year, in its 5 year existence I would have expected some variations at minimum, maybe a black dial, maybe enamel but unfortunately we have gotten nothing.
