Girard Perregaux 1966 Minute Repeater. Two pictures.
This is probably my favorite 1966, along with the Chronograph. This Minute Repeater plays in a different league, too.
Nice manual winding movement, superb enamel dial, sensual case, good size, and last but not least, it sounds pretty good!
Now, I would love to see a white metal iteration of this one. Since its unveil in 2012, I am looking for that.
It was one of these great moments shared with GP, for sure.

A Minute Repeater is on the 3rd place on my "shopping list".
This one looks pretty nice. I just like the white metal more and the text on the dial telling that it's a minute repeater spoiles in my eyes a very beautiful watch. Best, Kari

I have a lot of difficulties
with texts like "Automatic" or even worse "Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified". And this minute repeater text is simply too much. I hope that I know what I'm buying and I don't need writing in the dial confirming the same. The red details in the...
One of the problems today is....
That all brands feel the need of printing the type of movement on the dial... Agree, would be better without! Best Blomman
Not really...
My favourite simple Minute Repeater PP 5078P is having just the name of the producer plus Geneva printed. In the white version there is a small print "Email" which is a bit too much. The black does not have it. Best, Kari

Thank you for these great shots, my friend! For me the MR text is unnecessary but not a deal breaker... One detail that puzzles me is the red 60 over 12... Normally I am very much pro these kind of details but here I wonder if the red 60 on the sub-second...
White metal, yes that would be very nice!
With a noble complication as the Minute Repeater I have no problem with colored gold... But for some of the other GP 1966 I would prefer white metal or even steel! Best Blomman
This GP 1966 is a really attractive timepiece !.. I do not mind that much about the writing, but better would be without, no doubt..
.. Obviously the sound of the MR is to be heard in real to judge.. The RG case + enamel dial makes the 1966 a truly desirable offering. Cheers & Best, hs
