excellent models, but what catches my attention is the clarity of your photos, what camera did you take the photos with or was it with a cell phone?

Using my old iPhone XR. Nothing fancy. I use an app called mag. Light for macro shots. It’s free. Very important to keep the phone still when taking pics. I tend to support the phone against my chest or arm to stablize it. Holing it alone will not be sta...

With its red accents it looks super cool. I never saw the black one in bracelet either always on straps, looks very different and sporty, nice catch

I think it goes well with the black dial but the salmon dial is best on strap. The solid gold 4940s are really nice too. I think these are very good neo vintage pieces to add to one’s collection and they are not “expensive” as well. Bracelet is available ... 

I thought it was somehow an original bracelet, good to know. I’ve never seen a solid gold 4940, will look for it. Just today I was checking on Chrono an Orion with aventurine ( I guess ) dial. So many cool gp pieces to choose. Will definitely consider the... 

But I felt less bling and more satin would suit the watch more. So got the polished bit on the side changed to satin. Only kept the two end links to be polished to match the shoulders of the case lugs. ☺️ Good 👍🏻 hope to see some pics of you in a GP soon ...

Preference on the salmon with grey strap. What a combo!

The salmon is my favorite too. Especially on the grey strap. Only 150 made in 1997 so one has to hunt for them on the secondary market. Over the next day or so, I’ll post two more 4940s I have. Yes I have four of them … 😅 GP has some nice modern watches f... 

You have this model well cornered Colorado is a beautiful state. Sadly, everything else about it makes it hard to live in, and I dream of moving. But the reality is we are running out of good places in the US.

There is one listed on chrono24 Grey strap I got in Singapore. Not so easy to find. It’s lug width 22 mm so I had to squeeze it in to the 21 mm lug width for the 4940. I find it difficult to find nice grey and “sand” color strap in 21 mm. 🤝

Could you share the lug width and the lug to lug measurement? Can the alarm function be disabled when not needed?

Lug to lug is 47.5 mm Yes, the alarm function can be disabled. It is entirely controlled by the lower crown. 🤝
