But I don't get the point of mechanical innovation when it isn't implemented in a way that makes the watch wearable. Even as an engineer and a tech enthusiast I can say that watches first have to be wearable and beautiful, then comes the rest, at least for me. This is a mechanical tour de force, I can't deny that, but the highest possible achievement would be to shrink the case down to wearable dimensions while still maintaining the exotic escapement. THAT would be worth every cent of its huge price. This is a great watch to look at, but is it really a good watch to wear?
